How the institute works

Separate from recognitionAdvisory and consultancy are kept separate from B.A.P-I recognition and accreditation. Being a partner or a client is not a recognition, and the two are never handled as one.
Sensitive sectorsIn sectors of national security, defence and strategic affairs, partnerships are open only to firms, institutions and bodies working in related fields. These sectors are marked "Related businesses only".
Within scope and the lawThe institute advises and builds capability. It does not act as a regulator and does not issue statutory certificates. Where the law reserves work for licensed or empanelled bodies, the institute works through a qualified partner.
Confidential by defaultClient data stays with the client. Anything published comes only with written consent and in anonymised form.
In Bharat's national interestClients and partners are screened, and engagements serve the protection and resilience of Bharat's assets.
Something left behindEvery engagement leaves a plan, a framework, trained people or a readiness report that the client keeps.
