Ethics and Publication Policy

The standards every author, editor and reviewer is expected to keep.

Originality

  • Work submitted must be the author's own and not published or under review elsewhere, unless the editorial desk agrees otherwise in writing.
  • Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism without acknowledgement, is not accepted. Manuscripts may be checked for overlap with published work.

Authorship

  • Everyone listed as an author must have contributed substantially to the work and agreed to its submission.
  • Other contributions are acknowledged by name, with consent.

Conflicts of interest and funding

  • Authors declare any financial, institutional or personal interest that could be seen to affect the work, and every source of funding.
  • Editors and reviewers withdraw from a manuscript where they have such an interest.

Data, sources and sensitive material

  • Data and sources must be reported honestly and be traceable.
  • Material that could harm national security, endanger people or breach confidentiality will not be published.

Corrections and retractions

  • Errors found after publication are corrected openly, with a note on the publication.
  • Where a serious problem is found, the publication may be withdrawn, with the reason stated.

Use of AI tools

  • Authors remain responsible for every part of their work. Any use of AI tools in writing or analysis must be disclosed to the editorial desk, and such tools cannot be listed as authors.

Raising a concern

  • Concerns about a publication can be sent to info@bharatassetsprotection.org and are handled confidentially.
