Publication Guidelines
What we publish, the forms it takes and how a manuscript should be prepared.
Scope
- Bharat Assets Publications publishes work on the protection and resilience of Bharat's critical infrastructure, strategic manufacturing and supply chains, across the twelve Research Focus clusters and their sectors, and on the six focus areas of the Viswaguru Project.
- Work should be original, evidence-based and written with Bharat's national interest and long-term resilience in view.
Forms of publication
- Web publications (editorials, expert perspectives, policy commentary, research papers, working papers, policy briefs, feature articles and others), journal articles, books and monographs, occasional papers, policy, legislative and governance papers, proceedings and industry reports, and the NRI-DI series.
- Tell the editorial desk which form you have in mind when you first write; the desk can suggest a better fit.
Preparing the manuscript
- Use a clear title, an abstract of 150 to 250 words and five to ten keywords.
- State the Research Focus cluster and sector the work belongs to, and the Viswaguru focus areas it informs.
- Structure the text with an introduction, the main analysis and a conclusion; policy papers should end with clear recommendations.
- Submit in an editable Word format, with figures and tables supplied separately in good resolution and numbered in the text.
Referencing and style
- Cite sources in APA style, with full references at the end.
- Use Indian English spelling consistently.
- Explain abbreviations at first use and keep numerical claims traceable to a source.
- Do not include classified, confidential or personally sensitive information.
