Intent

To establish a nationally governed institutional publishing ecosystem that enables BAPI to publish, disseminate and preserve high-quality knowledge resources through strategic partnerships, while retaining editorial, institutional and brand control.

Purpose

To create a transparent, scalable and commercially sustainable framework for collaboration through standardised B2B partnerships that extend the reach and impact of BAPI publications while safeguarding its intellectual property, publishing standards and long-term institutional interests.

The Zero-Cost Principle

BAPI pays nothing to any partner. There are no fees, advances, deposits, listing or subscription charges payable by BAPI. Partners invest their own capability and recover their costs only from the revenue share agreed for each title, so every partnership is self-financing and every title remains BAPI’s.

Our Publishing Partners

Publishers who carry BAPI titles to readers

Any publisher, printer or distributor, in India or abroad, may apply. Partners appear here once BAPI has approved them and the Master Agreement is in place. Each partner has its own page showing its brand, the BAPI titles it publishes, the rights it holds and the agreements behind them.

Founding partner places are open

BAPI is appointing its first publishing partners. Founding partners are introduced on this page with their own branded profile and the BAPI titles they publish.

Who publishes what, on which rights

Every BAPI title placed with a partner is recorded here: the partner, its role, the territory, formats and languages licensed, the term, and the agreement that governs it. BAPI remains publisher of record for every title. Commercial terms are confidential between the parties.

No title has been placed with a partner yet. Entries appear here as soon as an assignment is made.
The Ecosystem

Fifteen layers, one institutional publisher

Every layer serves a single design: BAPI as the permanent publisher of record, with many commercial partners competing and collaborating inside one governance framework.

Transparent revenue models

Every model is cost-neutral to BAPI: partners and sponsors carry the investment, and BAPI keeps the imprint, the rights and its share.

BAPI pays: nil
Model D

Institution Sponsored

A university, research centre or professional body funds production of a title or series published by BAPI.

BAPI pays: nil
Model E
