B.A.P-I Work Focus Manual
The 360-Degree Reference on Doctrine, Focus Areas, Research, Programmes and Governance · Edition 2026
The Work Focus Manual is the Institute's all-in-one reference: what B.A.P-I stands for, what it studies, the objectives it pursues in every focus area, cluster and sector, how its research becomes publications, programmes and services, and how its people work day to day. This page sets out its essence. The full manual is shared on request.
The essence
B.A.P-I is an applied think tank for the protection and resilience of Bharat's critical infrastructure, strategic manufacturing and supply chains. The manual brings its whole work focus into one structure, so that every study, programme and partnership can be traced to a stated objective and a national priority.
The applied think-tank doctrine
Knowledge becomes intelligence, intelligence becomes capability, and capability becomes resilience. Every line of work in the manual follows this path.
Studies are anchored to the Bharat National Resilience Index (BNRI) and the Viswaguru Project, so that findings can be compared, scored and tracked over time.
Findings reach decision-makers through Bharat Assets Publications: journals, books, policy papers and the B.A.P-I National Resilience Series.
Knowledge is turned into certificates, training, internships, advisory and consultancy, and partnerships across all 148 sectors, with advisory kept separate from recognition.
Evidence, integrity and Bharat's national interest guide every engagement; clients and partners are screened and conflicts of interest declared.
Six focus areas
Each focus area has its own chapter in the manual with ninety coded objectives, linked sectors, applied pathways and outcome indicators.
