Recognition / Ranking / Affiliation

The Bharat Assets Protection Institute (B.A.P-I) envisions establishing itself as a nationally and internationally recognised research and policy institution dedicated to resilience-oriented governance and strategic preparedness. The journey toward formal recognition is a gradual and purposeful process—built on credibility, collaboration, and commitment to national interest.

The Institute aspires to build meaningful affiliations and institutional linkages that will connect it with leading government bodies, academic institutions, and global research platforms. Its future affiliation roadmap includes collaborative engagement with NITI Aayog, the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, the Department of Science and Technology, and thematic cooperation with UNDP-India and OECD’s Global Resilience Frameworks.

At the national level, B.A.P-I intends to form knowledge partnerships with universities, defence think tanks, and public policy centres, enabling a stronger bridge between academic research and policy implementation. Over time, the Institute’s research aims to be recognised in academic repositories, cited in scholarly discourse, and featured in national publications that shape the conversation on resilience and strategic governance.

In its forward-looking vision, B.A.P-I anticipates developing future affiliations and evaluation pathways under select national and international platforms such as:

®NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation and Research Ecosystem (AIRE) — for institutional research registration and policy collaboration;

®Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) — for academic linkage and research partnerships aligned with the NEP framework;

®Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) — for thematic cooperation in resilience studies, critical infrastructure protection, and national capacity-building;

®UNDRR, OECD, and UNDP-India networks — for inclusion within global programmes on infrastructure resilience and sustainability governance.

B.A.P-I stands today as a young but purpose-driven initiative—one that began as an idea of institutional foresight in 2020 and is steadily transforming into a national research and policy platform. The Institute’s ongoing efforts are directed toward securing formal academic, policy, and institutional affiliations, strengthening its foundation, and positioning itself as a trusted contributor to India’s evolving architecture of national resilience and strategic self-reliance.
