The twelve National Mission Centres are the main working framework of the institute: multidisciplinary centres of strategic inquiry for research, policy, strategic assessment, standards, innovation, advocacy and knowledge leadership. They are not teaching departments. Each Centre turns the institute's vision into research programmes, policy studies, assessments, standards, publications, partnerships and capacity building in its own field.
