Occasional Papers
Short, focused summaries of a policy issue and what should be done about it.

A policy brief is written for a reader with little time. In a few pages it states the issue, why it matters now and what should be done, with the key evidence summarised rather than argued at length. Briefs often draw on a longer B.A.P-I study and carry its findings to decision makers in a form they can use at once.

Sample layout
A specimen with the cover, publication details, structure and page layout, with guidance for authors in each section. It is a template only and does not report research.
Papers will be listed here as they are cleared by the editorial board. If you are working on a question that suits this form, send us a short proposal: a working title, a few lines on the argument and the evidence you will use.
