Skill-Building & Placement Programme
Certification Framework
Competence. Credibility. Career Integration.
A three-stage certification pathway, from foundational and advanced skills to real-world exposure and expert validation, supported by competency assessments.
Certification at B.A.P-I follows a three-stage pathway. Each stage builds on the previous one, moving participants from skills, to applied experience, to validated expertise. All certifications are aligned with B.A.P-I institutional standards and sector benchmarks.
Assessment at every stage is competency-based and includes practical work, not only written tests. The final stage involves validation by domain experts and institutional review panels.
Participants usually progress through the stages in order, since each stage assumes the skills and experience of the one before it. Performance at each stage is documented, giving participants a clear record of their competencies that can be presented to employers and institutions. The pages for each stage set out its objectives and how it is delivered.
The three stages
- Stage 1: Foundational & Advanced Skills Certification, valid for 3 years
- Stage 2: Real-World Exposure & Internship Certification, valid for 5 years
- Stage 3: Expertise Validation & Professional Certification, valid for 5 years
- Renewal through continued assessments and professional development
Re-certification ensures participants remain current with advances in their domain.
