Industrial Assignments
Engagement Models
Applied Research. Real-World Impact.
Project-based, retainer-based, rapid assessment and long-term strategic consulting formats tailored to client requirements.
Organisations differ in the nature of the questions they face, the time available to answer them and the depth of support they require. B.A.P-I therefore offers several engagement models, each suited to a different kind of need. The appropriate model is agreed during initial discussions and may be revisited as the relationship develops.
All engagement models follow the same principles of independence, rigour and clarity of scope, and all are delivered through the institute's execution framework.
Available models
- Project-based assignments for defined problems with a clear scope and endpoint
- Retainer-based engagement for ongoing access to advisory support
- Rapid assessment for focused diagnostics where an early view is needed
- Long-term strategic consulting for sustained, multi-phase resilience programmes
Models can also be combined, for example a rapid assessment followed by a project-based assignment. The sections below describe each model in more detail. Organisations unsure which model fits their situation may begin with an initial consultation, through which the institute can recommend a suitable arrangement.
