Industrial Audit Assistance

Industrial Audit Assistance

Sectoral Coverage

Compliance. Assurance. Resilience.

The programme covers energy, transport, logistics, manufacturing, water, telecom, urban infrastructure, ports and defence supply chains.

Each sector carries its own risk profile, regulatory expectations and operational constraints. The institute's audit assistance draws on research across these sectors so that support reflects the realities of the organisation's operating environment rather than a generic template.

Many organisations also operate across sector boundaries, and the institute takes account of interdependencies, for example between energy, telecom and transport systems.

Sectors covered

  • Energy, including generation, transmission and distribution
  • Transport and logistics
  • Manufacturing, including strategic manufacturing
  • Water and urban infrastructure
  • Telecommunications
  • Ports and maritime facilities
  • Defence supply chains

Sector knowledge also informs the selection of audit checklists, the interpretation of requirements and the prioritisation of corrective actions, so that recommendations are both relevant to the sector and realistic for the organisation to implement. Where an organisation is subject to requirements from more than one sector, the institute helps to bring these together into a coherent programme of preparation.

Organisations in sectors not listed are welcome to discuss their requirements with the institute.
